Welcome to the Sharon Stewart Library
Our beloved founder and former Head of School, Mrs. Sharon Stewart, passed away on October 24th, 2022. Sherry's passion for early childhood education was deeply intertwined with her lifelong love of books. She firmly believed in the philosophy of "Quisque infans singularis est" - "each child is unique" - and understood that fostering a love of reading was key to unlocking each child's unique potential.
Sherry envisioned a school where teachers and students knew each other well, fostering a warm and supportive environment where learning was an enjoyable and enriching experience. We know she would be incredibly proud of the Sharon Stewart Library, a testament to her dedication to cultivating a love of reading within our community. This special space provides students with a haven for exploration and discovery, where they can immerse themselves in the magic of stories.
As a community, our ongoing commitment to upholding the RDS values of integrity, diligence, respect, and involvement serves as a lasting tribute to her vision and her enduring love of learning.
