Get Involved!

Involvement is one of the four core values at The Rosedale Day School. We encourage all students to push themselves and try something new, whether it is joining a new Athletic Team or co-curricular, standing on stage in our yearly drama production, or participating in Spirit Week events. We strive to help our students discover new passions and form new bonds both in and outside of the classroom.

The RDS House System

Each RDS student and staff member join one of our four houses: Desmond, Peltier, Laws, and Hughes. These houses were named after prominent Canadians and selected by a vote among our students after a year of research and deliberation. During the school year, mark your calendars for special events such as Spirit Weeks, the Terry Fox Run, and the Harrier Run! Come dressed in your House Colours and complete for House Points, which are tallied up at the end of the year to determine the annual winner of the House Cup. School spirit is strong at RDS, solidifying a sense of belonging to enrich each student’s experience every single day.
